Yograj Singh believes that the Punjab Kings team will win their first IPL Trophy by winning the final. Yograj believes that the biggest threat to Punjab will be the important wicket of star RCB batsman Virat Kohli, who can capture the match. In particular, the 36 -year -old player has contributed significantly in the average of 55.82 and 614 runs at a strike rate of 146.53.
Yograj quoted NDTV as saying, “If Punjab does not dismiss Virat, he will be in trouble. If he is not out, he can follow 250 or 300. I believe that Punjab can win. If Virat is not out in the first 10 overs, the game will end. I will win.”
Kohli has been the backbone of Bangalore’s success for many years and despite reaching the IPL final three times before (2009, 2011 and 2016), he has not won the trophy and he would like to change it by winning the trophy this time. On the other hand, Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer has changed the fate of the team with head coach Ricky Ponting, which has reached the final after 11 years. Iyer has also impressed with his batting in addition to the brilliant leadership. With his name 39 sixes, Iyer lags behind Nicholas Puran only in terms of maximum sixes this year.
