Banke Bihari Temple Vrindavan Corridor: Vrindavan is the abode of Lord Krishna and Shri Radha ji. Millions of devotees come daily from the country and abroad to visit the Banke Bihari temple here. The government now wants to develop this dham and build the Banke Bihari temple corridor. The Goswami Samaj is opposing it after the Supreme Court of Thakur Banke Bihari Temple of Vrindavan and the UP government for the formation of the Trust Board. Goswami Samaj is opposing both the corridor and the ordinance. The dispute in Mathura has deepened since the notification of Banke Bihari Corridor construction is issued and the construction agency was set up.

Green flag from Supreme Court:

In the famous Thakur Shri Banke Bihari Temple Corridor case, the Supreme on May 15 gave a verdict that the corridor of the Banke Bihari temple should be built on a cost of Rs 500 crore in 5 acres and in which the treasure of the Banke Bihari temple should be used in the purchase of land. After getting the green signal from the court, State Governor Anandi Ben Patel has issued a notification for the formation of Trust Board through special ordinance. However, the Supreme Court’s double bench is yet to be heard in the double bench of the Supreme Court on the reconsideration petition of the temple service.

What is the notification of the government:

Using the power provided in section 1 of Article 213 of the Indian Constitution, the Governor of the state Anandiben Patel has issued a notification for the formation of the formation of Shri Banke Bihari Trust Ordinance 2025 and has associated the Charitable Affairs Department as an administrative work. Under the ordinance, an 18 -member committee will soon be formed by the state government in which 7 ex -officio and 11 members will be nominated. The ex -officio members will include the District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police, Municipal Commissioner, CEO of the Pilgrimage Council, an officer of the Charitable Affairs Department, the State Government appointed by the state government and the members nominated by the nominated members will include saints, Vaishnav, academics etc.

Goswami society considers it its personal property:

There is anger among the Goswami people for the ordinance issued by the government for the construction of a trust for the construction of a corridor on the Banke Bihari temple. On the ordinance issued for the formation of trust, Goswamis said that when the temple is their personal property, why is the government interfering with it. He flatly refused to convince the ordinance. The Goswami society believes that this temple is their personal property on which they do not want the government to dominate. In 1864, our ancestors collected money from their disciples for 17 years and built the temple.

Goswami society threatened:

Goswami has now threatened to leave Mathura in this case. Goswamis have clearly stated that if the government wants the temple and money according to its intention, then they will migrate from here with their family and then we will do what our ancestors did. That is, Goswami Samaj will carry the idol and build a new temple.

After the meeting, in front of the media, Goswamis said that hundreds of years ago, four of the major temples of Saptadevalayas of Braj had to leave here due to invaders. Those who were Brajwasi also migrated. He said that we are not saying that the BJP government is an invader, but if a problem arises in this way, we will leave this place.

What do government documents say?

According to revenue documents, the Banke Bihari temple is not a private property of anyone. Revenue documents are recorded in the name of Govind Dev instead of the temple. SB Singh, CEO of UP Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad, has confirmed that the revenue records are recorded in the name of Govind Dev instead of the temple. According to the information received, there is no land in the name of Mauja Vrindavan Bangar’s revenue records and Khatauni Shri Banke Bihari Temple. Non -ZA’s Khevat Muhal Kalo Govind Dev Ji Khevat No. 103, Khasra Number 598 of Vrindavan Bangar is recorded. The total area of this land is 299.65 acres.

Government wants a solution to the problem:

The government believes that the number of devotees coming to the city and temple and their inconveniences should be developed here. For this, she wants to reconcile all the parties. On Sunday, DM CP Singh, SSP Shlok Kumar and MVDA VC SB Singh Sevayat reached Vrindavan to meet with Goswamis. Tried to convince Goswamis that the corridor was in their interest.

The government has clarified that people living in the corridor area, shopkeepers and Goswami families will be taken care of not to be violated. In which clarification has been given by the government that the misconceptions spreading about the temple corridor should not be taken care of. Whether it is Goswami family or local people and shopkeepers, all will be noticed. Apart from this, the way the Goswami family is serving, there will be no reshuffle and we welcome the decision of the corridor and thank Yogi Adityanath ji.
