The second edition of the ACC Women Emerging Asia Cup 2025 was to be played in Sri Lanka. But a big update has come out about the tournament. Actually ASIA Cup 2025 has been postponed indefinitely. The official announcement has been made to adjourn the Asia Cup Cricket Counseling from June 2. The tournament was to be held from 6 June. But at present, this tournament has been postponed due to this major reason. Counseling has said that a new schedule of the tournament will be released soon.

The big reason for postponing Asia Cup 2025 revealed

Before the start of the tournament, Asian Cricket Counseling has shared a post on social media. In which she has made a big announcement to postpone the Women Emerging Asia Cup at the moment. Asian Cricket Counseling has also said that, “Sri Lanka Cricket SLC requested to change the schedule of the tournament, citing adverse weather and healthy pyre in his area. Because of which we have taken a big decision.” Fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the new schedule.

Indian team won the first title

For information, let us know that the first title of the Women Emerging Asia Cup was played in the year 2023. In which India won this tournament played in Hong Kong. Bangladesh A team was defeated in India’s final and won the trophy. Eight teams took part in this tournament. In which India A, Bangladesh A, Pakistan A, Sri Lanka A, United Arab, Emirates, Nepal hosts Hong Kong and machine Malaysia were made.

Doubt on organizing Asia Cup

A reliable formula close to the ACC has told that there is also doubt on organizing the Asia Cup T20 tournament to be held in September due to tension between India and Pakistan recently. The same source has also been quoted as saying that I do not think the Asia Cup will be the current situation and hosting the tournament for the BCCI will be very difficult to get approval from the government to invite the Pakistan team.
