Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the country. In Ahmedabad, Gujarat, 60 cases of Corona have been found in the last 24 hours. SP Himkar Singh in Rajkot is also corona positive. They are currently in home isolation.
5 people have also died from Korona during the last 24 hours across the country. These include one each in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal and two deaths in Maharashtra. Since January, there have been 38 deaths from Korona in the country. Of these, 31 have died in the last 4 days. Maharashtra has the highest number of 10 deaths.
The figure of Corona patients in India has crossed 4 thousand. There are a total of 4,026 active cases in the country. 50% of these cases are only in Maharashtra and Kerala. Kerala has the highest number of 1,446 active cases. This is followed by 494 cases in Maharashtra, 397 in Gujarat and 393 in Delhi.
Corona cases have increased by about 15 times in the country since 22 May. There were only 257 active cases in the country on 22 May. By 31 May this figure had increased to 3,395. Since then, cases have been increasing continuously. 2700 patients have also recovered.
High Court said- Kovid’s next epidemic is not over yet
The Delhi High Court said on Monday- Kovid’s next epidemic is not over yet, but it is still active. The court has sought information from the central government about the preparations made for the sample collection center and transport policy.
The court said that if there is any emptiness in implementing whatever decisions were taken after the meeting held on 30 May 2023, then it is a serious matter. Justice Girish Kathpalia said that it should be assumed that the necessary steps and protocols must have been decided, but the officials concerned should bring it on record.
Central government said- preparations for dealing with Korona complete
Union Minister of State for Health and AYUSH Prataprao Jadhav said- Ministry of Health and Ministry of AYUSH are completely cautious. All the states are monitoring the situation. We have talked to the secretaries and ministers concerned.
He further said that things like oxygen plant, ICU beds built during the previous Kovid waves have been reviewed. Preparations are on to deal with any situation.
