After winning the IPL 2025 title, he has expressed his condolences to the stampede incident during the arrival of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Bengaluru. The franchise expressed deep grief over these unfortunate accidents in media reports, saying that the safety and goodness of all people is their priority.
RCB said in its official statement:
“We have come to know through media reports that a large crowd of people gathered in Bangalore in the hope of this afternoon arrival of the team. This situation is extremely sad for us. We mourn the death of those people and express their heartfelt condolences to the affected families.”
