Bangalore stampede: Emotion from home on the pretext of job interview, news of death from media

11 people died during the Victory Parade after Royal Challengers Bangalore became champions in IPL 2025. There was a stampede outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, in which many people were injured. The family members of Kolar’s Sahana had to struggle for the freezer after the daughter’s death. At the same time, the family members of Prajwal, who came out by talking about the job interview, received the news of his death through the media.
Family of Sahana fought for freezer
Sahana died in a stampede, her family has expressed displeasure with the government. Sahana, who works in Bengaluru, was a resident of Kolar, 90 km from here. After the post -mortem, his body was shifted to the municipal body vehicle. The family said that the administration did not arrange the freezer to take it to Kolar. In the hospital, when the family expressed his displeasure and anger in a tremendous manner, he was given the freezer only after that.
Prajwal’s family received news of death from media
Prajwal, who lives in Chintamani, also died in this stampede. The glory came out to the family members saying that he had an interview in a private company in Bengaluru and reached the Chinnaswamy Stadium to attend the celebration of Royal Challengers Bangalore. When the housemates saw his name in the list of dead through the media, they came to know that not to join the victory celebrations of RCB, not for the Job interview.
Order to submit the investigation report in 15 days
The Karnataka government ordered a judicial inquiry into the stampede and asked to submit the report within 15 days. The CM said that the gates of the stadium were also broken, due to which there was a stampede. No one expected such a large crowd. The stadium has a capacity of only 35,000 people, but about 2 to 3 lakh people had gathered. The entire police force available in Bangalore city was deployed.
