Sensex rises 444 points due to shopping in shares, 131 points in NIFTY also gained 131 points
Share Market Update: The local stock market closed for the second consecutive day due to the fresh flow of foreign capital and the purchase of ICICI Bank and Reliance Industries on Thursday amidst strong global trends. The Sensex rose by about 444 points and the Nifty was 131 points. Among the companies included in the Group of Sensex, the Internal (East Zomato) recorded the highest 4.50 percent rose. Along with this, shares of Power Grid, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, UltraTech Cement, Adani Ports, Sun Pharma, ITC and Hindustan Unilever also closed off.
BSE’s 30 -share standard index Sensex climbed 443.79 points, or 0.55 percent to close at 81,442.04 points. At one time during trading, it rose 912.88 points to 81,911.13. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) standard index Nifty also rose 130.70 points, or 0.53 percent, closed at 24,750.90 points.

Among the companies included in the Group of Sensex, the Internal (East Zomato) recorded the highest 4.50 percent rose. Along with this, shares of Power Grid, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, UltraTech Cement, Adani Ports, Sun Pharma, ITC and Hindustan Unilever also closed off.
In contrast, the shares of IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance declined. The Monetary Policy Committee of the Reserve Bank of India is currently meeting for the decision on the policy interest rate. The decision will be announced on Friday.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) became buyers on Wednesday. According to the stock market data, FII made net purchases of shares worth Rs 1,076.18 crore. Other markets in Asia, South Korea’s Korea, China’s Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong’s hangs closed in a positive realm while Japan’s Nikki was in 225 losses.
European markets were trading with an edge during the afternoon trading. On Wednesday, the American markets were closed with mixed trend. Global oil standard brent crude rose 0.35 percent to $ 65.14 per barrel. The BSE Sensex rose by 260.74 points to 80,998.25 on Wednesday and NSE Nifty increased 77.70 points to 24,620.20 points.
