Israel Hamas War Chinese Companies Alibaba And Baidu Have Disappeared Israel From Their Digital Maps No Response Yet
China Stand On Israel-Hamas War: In the Hamas-Israel war, China’s stance is towards Hamas. China had warned Israel about the attack on Gaza. Now Chinese companies Alibaba and Baidu have taken controversial steps. According to the Wall Street Journal report, Baidu and Alibaba have removed Israel from their digital maps.
It has been told in the report that even small countries like Luxembourg are clearly visible in the maps of these companies. These maps were in Mandarin language. However, the Chinese government and companies have not given any reaction on this issue.
China’s stance in Israel-Hamas war?
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had talked to Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen a few days ago and assured that he would help in mediation. However, from many of China’s statements it seemed that it was against Israel. After Israel’s attacks on Gaza, China’s Foreign Minister had said that Israeli attacks were beyond the scope of self-defense. The Foreign Minister has reiterated several times that he sympathizes with the citizens of Gaza.
In whose favor did China vote in the UN?
Last Friday, Jordan tabled a draft resolution in the United Nations, in favor of which 120 countries including China voted. However, America and 14 countries voted against it. Along with BJP, 45 countries had distanced themselves from this voting. Earlier, America had presented a proposal regarding ceasefire in Gaza, which was vetoed by China and Russia. Russia had also presented a resolution in the United Nations Security Council, which was vetoed by America.
