Emergency landing of helicopter had to be done on the road.

A major accident continued to happen in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand on Saturday. Here a private helicopter crashed in the middle of the road and the back of it collided with a car parked on the ground. ADG, law and order of Uttarakhand, V. Murugation reported that the incident took place in Guptkashi area, when the pilot saw a technical fault, after which he had to make an emergency landing. All the passengers in the helicopter, including the pilot, are said to be safe and have not suffered any injuries. In addition, the car with which the rear collides with the helicopter has been damaged. There was no one in the car at the time of the accident.

Emergency landing had to be done after technical fault

The photographs taken from the scene can see the atmosphere of chaos, in which medical and emergency personnel are running towards the helicopter and taking out the riders. ADG, Law and Order, Murugation reported that the helicopter was from Crestle Aviation Private Limited and was carrying devotees from Sirsi to Kedarnath Dham pilgrimage site. Due to the malfunction, a precautionary helicopter had to take off the road instead of a nearby helipad. He said, “DGCA has been informed. The rest of the shuttle is running normally as per the scheduled time.”

The accident has happened before

Let me tell you that earlier on May 8, a private helicopter crashed near Bhagirathi river in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Six people were killed and two others were injured in the accident. According to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the helicopter operated by aerotrance services private limited fell into a 200 to 250 meter deep ditch. The helicopter flew from Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun and left for Kharsali Helipad near the Yamunotri temple. The SDRF said that four of the passengers were from Mumbai and two from Andhra Pradesh. The aircraft was run by Captain Robin Singh.
