Beijing. Amidst the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine since last year, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has accused Western countries and NATO of expanding the war. The Defense Minister said, expressing desire for dialogue in the Asia-Pacific region is merely cosmetic. Speaking at the Jiangshan Forum, China’s largest defense diplomat, Sergei on Monday alleged that NATO countries were promoting an arms race through military presence and defense exercises in the region. He accused the US of using climate change and natural disasters as humanitarian pretexts.

The Russian Defense Minister said that we are ready for talks on coexistence with the West to resolve the Ukraine crisis, but it will have to stop Russia’s strategy of diplomatic defeat. Meanwhile, Zhang Youjia, Vice Chairman of China’s Central Defense Commission, also targeted America and its allies and said that some countries are trying to weaken the Chinese government. Meanwhile, Russian Air Force commander Colonel General Mikhail Tepanalsky has been made the new commander of the Russian Dnipro military group in Ukraine. According to the information, Tepalsky has been given this responsibility in place of Colonel General Oleg Makarevik.
