‘More than 50 people died in Israel’s airstrike on refugee camp’, claims Hamas

Israel’s military campaign against Hamas continues. According to news agency AFP, on Tuesday (31 October) The Hamas-run health ministry said at least 50 people have been killed in an Israeli attack on a refugee camp.

No comment has been made yet by Israel regarding the alleged attack. According to Aljazeera’s report, Gaza’s interior ministry said Israeli airstrikes targeted apartment blocks in a residential area of ​​the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, killing and injuring hundreds of people. At the same time, the director of the nearby Indonesian hospital has also said that 50 people have died.

According to the BBC report, the Jabaliya camp, north of Gaza City, is the largest of the eight refugee camps. By July 2023, the United Nations had registered more than 116,000 refugees there.
