Mumbai: Politics has intensified on the allegations of rigging by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 and political attacks have started on him. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has retaliated on Rahul Gandhi’s allegations, saying that it means he has given up his defeat in Bihar. Prior to Fadnavis, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also wrote a long post on the social media platform X, giving a befitting reply to Rahul’s allegations. Fadnavis said, ‘This means Rahul Gandhi has given up his defeat in Bihar. I always say until Rahul Gandhi lands on the ground, until you understand the facts, until you lie to yourself, they will give false comfort to yourself. His party can never win, he will have to wake up, he will have to understand reality, otherwise he will keep talking without his head, always lies, always insulting voters. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also gave a befitting reply to Rahul Gandhi’s allegations. Tagging Rahul’s X post, he wrote, ‘Rahul Gandhi’s post on Maharashtra election is an old drama- defeat the election, defame institutions, make false conspiracies, and call yourself a victim of a fictional system.’ Pradhan further said that India’s democracy is stronger than Rahul’s insecurity and he said that during the Congress rule, referring to the emergency and misuse of Article 356, saying that Rahul should focus on his party’s old rigging. He also informed that the Modi government improved the appointment process of the Election Commission and included the Leader of the Opposition in the panel, which never happened under the Congress rule.

Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan has also given a big statement on the post of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Talking to the media on Rahul Gandhi’s allegations, Chirag said, ‘Now they are looking for excuses, because they are going to lose the next election. They know that they are going to lose Bihar assembly elections. Till now they were blaming EVMs. Now he has found a new excuse. After independence, you remained in power for 55 years and if the public is denying you today, then it is time of self -consciousness instead of finding excuses.

Rahul Gandhi, in his X post, accused the Maharashtra Assembly Elections of alleged rigging in 2024. He wrote in a post on X, ‘How is the election stolen? The blueprint to cheat democracy was prepared in the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024. Rahul spoke in five steps: disturbances in the appointment of the Election Commission, adding fake voters to the voter list, exaggerating the voter turnout, where the BJP wants victory, to get fake voting, and hide the evidence. He claimed that this ‘match fixing’ could also be in Bihar and other states, which is poison for democracy. Rahul appealed to the people to look at the evidence and ask for answers.
