ACE bans live sports piracy site ‘watchwrestling.ai’ in India

World leading anti-piracy organization Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) has shut down live sports piracy site ‘watchwrestling.ai’ and its related domains, which were operating from India. ACE identified and confronted the Uttar Pradesh-based operator of the site, which transferred ‘watchwrestling.ai’ and all related domains to ACE. Sites now redirect to ACE’s “Watch Legally” page.

Last year, ‘watchwrestling.ai’ and its associated domains received more than 253 million visits. Most of the traffic came from the United States, United Kingdom, India and Canada. “The shutdown of WatchWrestling.AI marks an important victory in our ongoing campaign against live sports programming piracy,” said Jan van Voorn, Executive Vice-President and Head of Global Content Protection, Motion Picture Association, and Head of ACE.
