Jaipur (Whatsapp- 8875863494). 1 November 1983 is an important date in the history of the country, when the then Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi started changing the picture and destiny of South Rajasthan by pressing the button.
The then Prime Minister of the country, Mrs. Indira Gandhi, had inaugurated the water flow in the canals of South Rajasthan’s largest Mahi project on 1 November 1983.
The film Mahi Darshan gives a glimpse of what the picture of South Rajasthan was like before the Mahi Project and how the picture and destiny of Vagad has changed after the start of the Mahi Project.
The script of the film Mahi Darshan, prepared under the chief direction of DM Singhvi, the then Chief Engineer of the Mahi Project, has been written and voice given by Pradeep Dwivedi, the director of the first Wagdi film Tan Vaate, it has been filmed by Saheed Saeed of Satellite Studios and it has been edited. Actor Bhanwar Panchal of the first Wagdi film Tan Vaate has written it, while the then public relations officer Pannalal Meghwal has written its dialogues.
Many people have had direct and indirect contribution in the making of the film Mahi Darshan made in the year 1986, including the then Public Relations Officer Gopendranath Bhatt, the then chief engineer of Mahi Project Shamsher Singh, JP Bhatia, CB Mathur, ML Jain, TN Saxena, IC Arora, BS Mathur, Shailendra Upadhyay, Jagannath Taili etc. are prominent.
