Pressure on stock market in early trading, Sensex-Nifty fell
New Delhi, 01 November (Hindustan Reporter). The domestic stock market seems to be trading under pressure today amid mixed global signals. Today’s trading started with a decline. Although there was buying momentum for some time after the market opened, but after this the stock market again started trading in decline due to selling pressure. After the first one hour of trading, Sensex was trading with a weakness of 0.26 percent and Nifty with a weakness of 0.18 percent.
After the first one hour of trading, among the big stocks of the stock market, shares of BPCL, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp and Tata Consumer Products were trading with a rise of 1.83 percent to 0.57 percent. On the other hand, shares of JSW Steel, Kotak Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro, Nestle and Asian Paints were seen trading with a weakness of 1.30 per cent to 0.86 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,002 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,215 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 787 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 10 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 20 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of the stocks included in Nifty, 21 stocks were seen trading in the green mark and 29 stocks were seen trading in the red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today with a weakness of 45.06 points at the level of 63,829.87 points. As soon as trading started, buyers put pressure on them, due to which this index jumped in the green to reach the level of 63,896.05 points. But after this, due to selling pressure, this index again dipped into the red mark. After the first hour of trading amid continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am the Sensex was trading at the level of 63,707.48 points with a fall of 167.45 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty slipped 15.55 points today and started trading at 19,064.05 points. With the support of buying in early trade, this index also jumped in the green and reached the level of 19,096.05 points. But after this, due to selling pressure, this index fell back into the red mark. After the first hour of trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 19,045.40 points with a weakness of 34.20 points.
The domestic stock market started trading with gains in the pre-opening session today amid mixed global signals. In this session, BSE Sensex was at the level of 69,964.86 points with a rise of 167.79 points or 0.27 percent. Whereas Nifty had fallen by 4.90 points or 0.03 percent in the pre-opening session and reached the level of 19,081.30 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Tuesday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 63,874.93 points with a decline of 237.72 points or 0.37 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Tuesday’s trading at the level of 19,079.60 points with a weakness of 61.30 points or 0.32 percent.
