Learned coding at the age of 7
Her journey with technology started at a very young age and she considers her father, who is an engineer, as her first inspiration for her journey. She told Business Insider that her father’s passion and values encouraged her to get into coding when she was 7 years old.
Used to do internship 20 hours a week during Covid
She told the media outlet that she moved to Florida with her family from India at the age of 11 and the world of computer science and math opened up to her. At the age of 13, he began interning in university research labs while still attending school, working on machine learning projects at Florida State University.
During COVID, she interned about 20 hours a week as her school went virtual.
The idea of Delv.AI came during internship
During his internship he started thinking about how AI could solve problems and came up with the idea of Delv.AI. In 2021 Pranjali won a place in the AI Startup Accelerator in Miami, facilitated by tech enthusiasts Lucy Guo and Dave Fontenot of Backend Capital.
He was accepted into their September 12-week group in exchange for a small share of his future company. The accelerator became a launchpad and helped it attract investment from major names including On Deck and Village Global.
