To make gram flour idli, the following ingredients are required –
– 1 cup gram flour
– 1/4 cup boiled rice
– 1/4 cup curd
– 1/2 tsp tamarind juice
– Freshly chopped green chillies, ginger and coriander
– Salt as per taste
After this follow the following steps-
1. In a large bowl, mix gram flour, boiled rice, curd, tamarind juice, green chilli, ginger, coriander and salt.
2. Mix well so that all the ingredients are mixed well.
3. Add little water to the batter and mix, so that it becomes thick like a normal idli batter.
4. Apply some oil in the idli stand or idli plate and add a little glass of water to it.
5. Pour the idli batter into the idli stand and leave it on low flame for 10-12 minutes.
