Hashish smugglers busted Muzaffarnagar police busted hashish smugglers, three smugglers arrested with 10 kg hashish

Uttar Pradesh News Desk!!! In the joint action of Meerut Unit of Anti Narcotics Task Force and Shahpur Police Station in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, three persons smuggling hashish have been arrested. Accused Akash Kumar, Sumit Kumar and Radheshyam have been arrested after 10 kg of charas has been seized from them. The accused are residents of Muzaffarnagar and Baghpat. Budhana Area Officer (CO) Himanshu Gaurav said on Wednesday that he had received secret information about the accused. After this, the police team conducted a raid and arrested three drug smugglers with a huge quantity of drugs from a car.

The officer said, the accused caught by the team revealed during interrogation that they deal in drug dealing. He was buying the drugs at low prices from Kapil Kumar, a resident of Nand Prayag town in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand and selling the drugs at high prices in Muzaffarnagar and surrounding areas. Police said that the price of charas recovered from the possession of the accused is around Rs 1 crore 20 lakh in the international market.
