According to the news of Times of India, if we consume the dishes prepared during Diwali in large quantities, it has a bad effect on our health. It is important to establish and follow some rules to maintain health.

Eat at the right time: Eating at the right time has a great impact on your health. If we eat food at the right time, our digestion will remain healthy. If you are not hungry then you can eat light food. You have to leave at least 4 to 6 hours between lunch and dinner. If you feel hungry in between then you can eat dry fruits, fruits etc.

Do not overuse spices: Foods rich in spices harm our body. After Diwali, one should avoid eating spicy foods for a few days. You can use organic turmeric powder and black pepper in your food.

Include light meals: While planning your meal strategy, include comfort foods like rice, porridge and khichdi. Along with this, you can also include probiotic drinks like South Indian Kanji in your drinks. This will help in reducing cholesterol and blood sugar will also be controlled. Foods like rice and porridge can be easily digested.

Selection of drinks: After Diwali, you should also pay attention to your drinks. If you drink lemon juice mixed with warm water daily, it will strengthen your digestive system. You can also add organic brown sugar or honey instead of sugar. You should also include milk in your diet. You can also consume milk before sleeping at night. You can also add a pinch of organic turmeric powder to milk before sleeping at night.

What not to do: Our health gets seriously affected during festivals. Therefore, after the festival is over, we will have to take special care of our health for a few days. After festivals, cold, frozen, undercooked and fried foods should be avoided as much as possible. Additionally, you should avoid any food made from maida or flour.
