Eng Vs Wi 2nd T20I: England cricket team won the second T20 match against West Indies by four wickets to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The match was played at Bristol’s County Ground on Sunday where England got a target of 197 runs to win, which he achieved in 18.3 overs due to Jose Butler’s innings of 47 runs off 36 balls.

In this match, England won the toss and decided to bowl first and the West Indies batsmen proved Harry Brook’s decision wrong. The West Indies batting first scored a challenging score of 196/6 in the scheduled 20 overs. In this innings, the visiting team performed aggressively and hit a total of 15 sixes.

Evin Lewis was dismissed by Luke Wood early and Johnson Charles shared the match with Shai Hope for the second wicket. Charles and Hope added 90 runs for the second wicket. In the end, Rowman Powell (34), Romario Shepherd (19) and Jason Holder (29*) helped the West Indies to reach the 190s.

In response, England made a positive start with a powerplay of 58 runs. Jamie Smith was dismissed for only four runs, before Ben Docket took the innings with his aggressive batting style. Together with Butler, the pair added 63 runs. Docket was dismissed for 30 runs off 18 balls. Butler then added 40 runs with Harry Brook. England’s score increased to 126/4 as soon as these two batsmen were dismissed.

However, in the end, Tom Banton (30*) and Bethel’s 26 -ball 26 -ball off in the final overs gave England win with nine balls remaining. Both scored a fast innings of 56 runs off just 21 balls and easily took England towards victory. This victory gave England an unassailable 2–0 lead in the three-match series against the West Indies.
