Cargo Ship Fire: A cargo ship caught fire on the coast of Bepor in Kozhikode, Kerala. The ship is a container ship with a flag of Singapore, which is 270 meters in length. The ship was coming towards Mumbai. There have also been several explosions and fire incidents in the ship. Many containers in the ship have fallen into the sea.

Explosion under deck

According to the Coast Guard, there is an explosion under the deck. The 4 crew has been reported to have been disappeared and 5 krew injuries. The ship had container cargo with a total of 22 crews. The CGDO on the work has been diverted for assessment. ICGS Ambassador from New Mangalore, ICGS from Kochi and ICGS from Agatti have been diverted to assist.

18 members of the crew rescued

Meanwhile, according to information received from the Defense Sutra, 18 crew members, leaving the burning ship on the Kerala coast, have been rescued by the Navy and Coast Guard.
