Curfew in Los Angeles
According to the AFP report, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced the night’s curfew overnight in the central region of the city after several nights and sabotage. Karen Bass told reporters, “I have announced a local Emergency and issued curfew to prevent Los Angeles downtown and to stop looting.” Mayor Karen Bass said that curfew will be imposed from 8 am to 6 am and can remain in force for several days. However, he said that curfew does not apply to residents and people working in the region.
