Suture. A passenger bus going from Nagpur to Mandla collided with a truck parked on the roadside near Khairranji village of Kewalari police station area of the district at 3.30 am on Friday. Three people died on the spot in the accident. More than 25 were injured.
All the injured have been admitted to Mandla and Nainpur for treatment. The bus was carrying mostly working class people who were returning to their villages from Nagpur to celebrate the festival. Police have registered a case on the accident and are investigating.
