According to the information given by the local media, on June 8, a man along with his family went to Kachhibari located in Sirajganj district. Let us tell you that Kachhraibari is also known as Ravindra Kachhribadi or Ravindra Memorial Museum. Here he got into a dispute with the employee over the money to park the motorcycle at the entry gate. The person was then locked in an office room and assaulted him. After this, the locals got excited due to the incident. People first staged a protest and then the mob attacked the auditorium of Kachhribadi and vandalized there and also beat up a director of the institute.
What action has been taken in the case so far?
The Archaeological Department of Bangladesh has formed a member committee to investigate in the case of sabotage in the ancestral house of Rabindranath Tagore in Sirajganj district. This news has come out on Wednesday quoting local media. This inquiry committee has been asked to submit a report in the case within 5 working days. Due to unavoidable conditions, the entry of people in Kacharibadi has also been temporarily stopped.

Bangladash has an ancestral home and revenue office of the family of Kachhirabari Rabindranath Tagore located in Shahzadpur of Rajshahi Division.
