The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has written a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to stop the certificate of Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming film ‘Sardar G3’. In its letter, FWICE requested CBFC president Prasoon Joshi not to give a certificate to the film as it allegedly consists of Pakistani artists Hania Aamir, Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar and Salim Albela. It is written in the letter, ‘In view of the recently issued instructions by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I & B Ministry), in the Indian presentations, the Indian presentations have banned the content of Pakistani origin and cooperation with Pakistani artists and in view of the parallel stance adopted by FWICE, we request CBFC that they are aligned with these instructions and national interests before proceeding with the authenticity.

It said, “We appreciate the fair and rigorous certification process of CBFC and believe that you will consider this request properly.” Earlier, BJP Chitrapat worker Aghadi also opposed the inclusion of Pakistani actors in Diljit Dosanjh’s film and demanded the CBFC not to release the film in India.
