Gujarat The horrific aircraft accident in Ahmedabad on Thursday has shook the whole world. The Air India aircraft crashed within a few minutes of the take-off from Ahmedabad to London yesterday. So far 297 people have died in this accident. The aircraft had a total of 181 Indians, 53 British, 7 Portuguese and 1 Canadian. We pray that all the affected people get the power and consolation to overcome this unimaginable damage.
Apart from 241 people aboard in flight, 56 other people also died
Let us tell you that there were a total of 242 people in Ahmedabad, including a total of 12 crew members in Air India, out of which 241 people have been confirmed. A UK citizen survived in this accident, which is no less than a miracle. Within minutes of taking off from Ahmedabad Airport, the aircraft crashed into a residential area. The aircraft collided with a hostel of doctors near the airport, killing a total of 56 people in the hostel and its surrounding area.
Tata will give Rs 1-1 crore to the relatives of the deceased
Air India parent company Tata Group has announced a compensation of Rs 1-1 crore to those killed in the accident. Along with this, the company has said that they will also bear the entire expenses for the treatment of the injured.
