Veteran actor Anupam Kher has expressed grief over the Air India Dreamliner accident on Thursday afternoon, killing 241 people. Showing solidarity with bereaved families, Anupam shared a video on Instagram, in which he spoke about the incident. The incident has been described as one of the worst aviation accidents in Indian history. In the clip, he can be heard saying, ‘Aircraft accident in Ahmedabad is not just a news. This is a mountain of sorrow that has broken so many houses. That aircraft was not just a machine. This was a moving hope in which our loved ones were sitting. Some were from India, some were from abroad. Someone was someone’s mother. Somebody was returning to his son. Somebody was going to work. Someone was going home after celebrating a holiday. But no one knew that this journey would become their last journey.

Anupam told that his mind is distressed, heart is silent and eyes are moist. ‘We are all with families who have lost their loved ones today. 241 people died in plane crash
Air India Boeing 787-8 crashed immediately after flying on Thursday afternoon. The aircraft operated from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick as AI-171 fell into a residential complex near the BJ Medical College, killing 241 people aboard it. The aircraft flew from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 1.38 pm on Thursday, but shortly after the aircraft lost control and crashed into a densely populated area, causing a fierce fire and an emergency response team was deployed across the city. This unfortunate flight had 230 passengers, 10 cabin crew and two pilots. According to officials, only one person, the British citizen of Indian origin who was sitting in 11A, survived the accident and is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
