Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today transferred directly through a historic initiative, Rs 271 crore 15 lakh in the accounts of the beneficiaries through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under the ‘Sankalp’, 1 Anne Marg via Social Security Pension Scheme and Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana. This financial assistance was provided to a total of 62 lakh 15 thousand 104 beneficiaries during the program organized on this occasion.

In this, 61 lakh 29 thousand 548 people got Rs 254 crore 45 lakh under five social security pension schemes and Rs 16 crore 70 lakh to 85 thousand 556 students under Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana.

    Beneficiary: 6,32,002
    From the center: ₹ 15.19 Crore
    From the state: ₹ 10.12 Crore
  • Bihar Disability Pension Scheme:
    Beneficiary: 9,64,220
    From the state: ₹ 38.68 Crore
  • Laxmibai Social Security Pension Scheme:
    Beneficiary: 8,63,076
    From the state: ₹ 34.69 Crore
  • Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana:
    Beneficiary: 85,556
    From the state: ₹ 16.70 Crore
