Patna: Patna: Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar held an important meeting in ‘Dialogue’ today, in which he interacted directly with the delegation of the Gram Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad representatives associated with the Panchayati Raj system. In this meeting, the problems and demands of the three -tier panchayat representatives of the state were heard, on which the Chief Minister made several important announcements showing a positive attitude.

The Chief Minister started his address to the fact that it is a matter of pride that direct communication is being established with the panchayat representatives. He said that the government has studied the suggestions and demands received from the Panchayati Raj Department intensively and now the time has come to give them the form.

Administrative acceptance limit of MNREGA scheme was increased
Now the head of the Gram Panchayat will get the right to approve schemes up to ₹ 10 lakh instead of schemes worth ₹ 5 lakh under the MNREGA scheme. This will accelerate the execution of the schemes and can be met better than the local needs.

Increase in monthly allowance of representatives
Monthly allowance of panchayat representatives 1.5 times It has been decided to increase. This will help in their economic empowerment and will also increase their social reputation.

Panchayat government building will get new speed
The Chief Minister said that in all the panchayats of the state, the goal is to prepare a panchayat government building before the elections. The remaining 1069 buildings have been approved and their construction work will be assigned to the gram panchayats. Construction in the nearest village will also be possible if there is no availability of land.

Transparency in arms license applications
An order has been issued to the district officials to execute the arms license applications made by the panchayat representatives within the stipulated time limit.

Big change in grant grant
Earlier, there was a grant of ₹ 5 lakh only on accidental death. Now this amount will also be given on normal death. In addition, health benefits will be provided from the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Fund in the event of illness.

Facility in the use of Finance Commission amount
Panchayati Raj institutions now Up to 15 lakh rupees The plans will be directly implemented departmentally. This will speed up development works.

Special emphasis on women empowerment

In this meeting, Panchayat representatives-as Mrs. Krishna Yadav of Zilla Parishad Association, Panchayat Samiti chief Mrs. Rashmi Kumari, Mukhiya Sangh President Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Rai and Panch-Sarpanch Union President Mr. Amod Kumar Nirala-gave their demands and views.

Appreciating the work done by the Chief Minister in the panchayat system, he said that the direct benefit of the policies of the state government is now reaching every village.
