England announced the team for the domestic T20I series against India; Take a look at the team
England have announced their 14 -member team for the much awaited T20I series between the women’s teams of India and England. The series will begin at Trent Bridge from June 28, with star players like Sophie Ecleston. At the same time, Nut Skivor Brant has been given the command of the team.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced its team on Friday, June 13, for the five -match domestic T20 series against India. The series will begin on June 28 from Trent Bridge, Nottingham, while the remaining matches will be played on 1, 4, 9 and 12 July in Bristol, The Oval, Manchester and Birmingham respectively.
The captaincy of this team will bunt nuts and the team includes names like Danny Wayt-Hodes, Amy Jones, Charlie Dean and Issi Wong. The biggest news was the return of star spinner Sophie Alleston, who recently took a short break from cricket.
After this T20 series against India, both teams will also face face to face in the ODI series, which is part of the preparations for the ODI World Cup to be held in India and Sri Lanka this year.
Indian team Talking about, BCCI has already announced the squad of both formats. However, a change was made on 12 June, where Radha Yadav has been included in the T20 team in place of the injured Shuchi Upadhyay. Shuchi had to be out of the tour due to a left leg injury.
Shaifali Verma has not been given a place in the team selected for three ODIs, but he is part of the T20 team. Shaifali plays in WPL for Delhi Capitals and once again she will get a chance to show her strength in small format.
