Shubhanshu Shukla can go into space on June 19, Falcon 9 rockets are disturbed
Astronaut included in Exiom 4 Mission
The launch of the mission carrying Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla to the international space station can now be launched on June 19. According to ISRO, the Exiom Space Company has removed the liquid oxygen leaks in Falcon 9 rocket, due to this flaw, the launch had to be postponed on June 11. ISRO said in a press release that during the meeting between ISRO, Axiom Space and SpaceX, it was confirmed that the liquid oxygen leak in the Falcon 9 launched vehicle had been successfully corrected.
Axiom Space reported that they are working closely with NASA to assess the pressure discrepancy in the Jimada service module at the International Space Station. The Axiom Space is now targeting on June 19, 2025 for launch.
Who is Shubhanshu Shukla?
The Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is one of the four astronauts involved in the Gaganyaan program. He is accompanied by the European Space Agency astronaut Slavosz Ujnaski-Visnivsky, former NASA astronaut Paigi Whitson and Hungary’s Tibor Kapu are part of the mission on this mission. Shukla was selected by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the AX-4 mission during a visit to America in the year 2023. Shubhanshu has also taken special training from SpaceX and Axiom Space.
Rakesh Sharma is the first Indian to go to space
This mission of Shubhanshu Shukla reminds Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to go into space. Rakesh along with the Soviet Union went to space in 1984. After this, Sunita Williams went on a space trip in several NASA missions. Now Shubhanshu Shukla is also going into space. India has spent around Rs 548 crore on this mission so far. This includes the launch of Shubhanshu Shukla and his backup group Captain Prashant Nair.
Shubhanshu’s relationship from Lucknow
40 -year -old Shubhanshu Shukla is from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. They have two elder sisters. One is a teacher in Lucknow and the other lives in Delhi. Shubhanshu studied from Aliganj branch of City Montessori School in Lucknow to twelfth. His father’s name is Shambhu Dayal Shukla and mother’s name is Asha Shukla. Inspired by the 1999 Kargil War, he took the National Defense Academy examination and was successful. After graduating from NDA in 2005, he started service to the Indian Air Force in June 2006 as a fighter pilot. Shubhanshu has experience of flighting more than 2,000 hours. He has blown SU-30 MKI, MIG-21, MIG-29, Jaguar, Hawk, Dornier 228 and AN-32. ISRO chose Shubhanshu Shukla in 2019 for India’s first human space mission ‘Gaganyaan’.
