Around 10,000 people of Indian origin live in Iran. Most people live in places like Tehran, Mashhad and Bandar Abbas. In Iran, people of Indian origin are also being transported from the capital Tehran to safe places. According to sources, many people have been brought from the capital Tehran to QOM (com) as it is a more secure area than Tehran.
How many Indian students are present in Iran?
There are also around one to one and a half thousand Indian students in Iran. Many of these students are from Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, 110 students have been removed and brought to Armenia. Now from here they can be brought back to India via aircraft. According to the information, out of 110 students brought to Armenia, 90 students are from Jammu and Kashmir.
