Team India’s former bowler can come to see BBL, RCB has part in IPL
Former Team India fast bowler Siddharth Kaul has registered his name for men’s Big Bash League Draft. Apart from this, 15 Indian players registered for the women’s tournament. Cricket Australia informed this on Tuesday (June 17).
Kaul has played three ODIs and three T20 International matches for India, he retired from international cricket last year. He is the only male Indian cricketer who has named his name in the BBL Draft to be held on Thursday (June 19).
Kaul in IPL Delhi CapitalsKolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers have been part of the Bangalore team. He played a total of 55 matches in the IPL and took 58 wickets in his account at an average of around 30.
Former England fast bowler James Anderson is one of the more than 600 players from around the world who has registered themselves for the league. If a team buys Anderson, he will become the oldest player in the league history at the age of 43.
Royal Challengers play for Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League and Kanika Ahuja, who made T20 International debut for India this year, is one of the 15 players from India who has given her name for the Women’s Big Bash League. Other Indian women include Jemima Rodrigues, Shikha Pandey, Radha Yadav and Yastika Bhatia, who have previously played in the Women’s Big Bash League.
The list includes S Meghna, Arundhati Reddy, Pratika Rawal, Under-19 T20 World Cup winning captain Nikki Prasad, Uma Chhetri, Kashvi Gautam, Priya Mishra and some others.
