Market declines for the second consecutive day, Sensex 139 and Nifty dropped 41 points
Share Market Closing 18 June, 2025: The Indian stock market saw a decline for the second consecutive day. On Wednesday, the BSE Sensex closed at 81,444.66 points with a decline of 138.64 points (0.17%). Similarly, today NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed at 24,812.05 points with a loss of 41.35 points (0.17%). Let us tell you that the market was also recorded on Tuesday. Yesterday, the Sensex fell at 81,583.30 points with a decline of 212.85 points (0.26%) and the Nifty closed at 24,853.40 points with a loss of 93.10 points (0.37%).
Shares of 20 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in red mark
On Wednesday, only 10 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in green mark, while the shares of all the remaining 20 companies closed in red mark. Similarly, only 14 out of 50 of the Nifty 50 came to a green mark with shares and the remaining 36 companies closed in red mark with losses. Today, IndusInd Bank’s shares included the highest 4.44 per cent gains of 4.44 per cent, while TCS shares closed down 1.79 per cent today.

Other companies of Sensex today, Titan shares 1.99 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 1.24 percent, Maruti Suzuki 1.12 percent, Asian Paints 0.63 percent, Artnal 0.47 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.47 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.47 percent, Axis Bank 0.35 percent, Ultrachech Cement 0.29 percent and Ultrachec Cement closed with 0.22 percent.

On the other hand, Shares of Adani Ports 1.55 percent, Hindustan Unilever 1.35 percent, Nestle India 1.25 percent, Bajaj Finserv 1.16 percent, NTPC 0.85 percent, ICICI Bank 0.77 percent, Tata Motors 0.73 percent, HCL Tech 0.64 percent, Larsen and Tuber 0.64 percent, 0.64 percent, Infoses 0.45 percent, Finance 0.44 percent, Tata Steel 0.36 percent, Powergrid 0.33 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.33 percent, ITC 0.32 percent, Sunforma 0.17 percent, Reliance 0.10 percent, SBI 0.10 percent and Kotak Mahindra Bank shares down 0.05 percent.
