Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception in the Sri Lankan Parliament. He said that he is very grateful for a meaningful conversation with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amsuriya and other leaders, which made the journey ‘really unforgettable’ for him. Mohanlal shared two of his pictures on Instagram, where he shared two of his pictures in the Sri Lankan Parliament, where he met Speaker Jagat Vikramratne, Deputy Speaker Rizvi Salih and his friend with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amsuriya. He wrote in the caption, ‘I feel very honored with a great reception in Sri Lanka’s Parliament. It was really good luck to meet Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Harini Herini, Speaker Dr. Jagat Vikramratne, Deputy Speaker Dr. Rizvi Salih and my dear friend Ishant Ratnayake. He further said, “I am very grateful for warmth, generosity and meaningful conversation, which made this journey to Sri Lanka really unforgettable.”

Talking about the 64 -year -old superstar, Mohanlal’s career is longer than four decades, during which he has acted in more than 400 films. He has been awarded the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan in 2001 for his contribution to Indian cinema. In 2009, he became the first actor in India to be awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army. The actor was recently seen in ‘Thaudram’. Directed by Tharun Murthy, ‘Thudram’ is a crime thriller film. It also stars Shobhana, Prakash Verma, Farhan Fasil, Manianpilla Raju, Beenu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Arsha Chandini Baiju, Thomas Matthew, Krishna Praba and Arvind.

Mohanlal will next appear in the family drama ‘Hriday Puvaam’ directed by Satyan Anthikad, which Sonu T.P. The screenplay of Ki is based on the story of Anthikad’s son Akhil Satyan. In this, Malavika Mohanan, Sangeet Pratap, Sangeeta Madhavan Nair, Siddiqui, Sabita Anand, Baburaj, Nishan, Lalu Alex, Janardan and S. There are also P. Charan. Hridaya is scheduled to release dramatically on August 28.
