Taipei: China has made a big move amidst the fierce struggle between Israel and Iran. Beijing created panic by sending 74 fighter aircraft towards Taiwan between late night to Friday morning. It is being told that 61 of these fighter aircraft crossed the middle line of Taiwan Strait. This line is considered an informal military division between China and Taiwan.
Taiwan is closely monitoring
Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense has reacted strongly after the Chinese aircraft entered. According to Taiwan, the aircraft were sent to two different stages as part of the strategy from China, but it is not clear why China deployed such a large number of aircraft. The Ministry did not declare the incident as an action of provocation, but has said that it should be vigilantly monitored.
Why did China send aircraft?
Significantly, China considers Taiwan as part of its territory and tries to pressurize the autonomous island from time to time through military operations. It is believed that China has sent its fighter aircraft towards Taiwan as part of this pressure strategy. A day before the development, Britain’s naval patrol ship ‘HMS Speed’ passed through Taiwan Strait, welcoming the Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry, saying it confirms the route to be an international water area. The Taipei -based British Representative Office also issued a statement saying that the shipping was done under the United Nations Maritime Law Treaty and International Law.
China shocked by the passing of British ship
Before sending its fighter aircraft to Taiwan, China was biffed on Britain when it offered its aircraft in the middle. Objecting this, the presence of the British ship has deliberately spoiled the situation and this has weakened the peace and stability of the water. The Eastern Theater Command of the Jan Mukti Sena (PLA) said that it monitored the entire process and deployed military deployment to give appropriate answers. At present, it is not clear whether the sending a large number of aircraft by China is a direct response to the presence of the British warship. AP)
