The trailer of Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan’s film Kalidhar Mapta has been released. Abhishek Bachchan is playing the role of Kalidhar in the film Kalidhar Mapta, produced by Zee Studios and Emme Entertainment and directed by Madhumita. A middle -aged person who is struggling with losing, turning down and losing silence of life.
When he hears this ruthless plan of his siblings that he leaves him in the crowded Mahakumbh fair, Kalidhar decides to disappear on his terms. Then Kismet mixes him to Ballu (Divine Bhagela), an uncontrollable, a clever eight-year-old orphan child who is alone on his own on his run-of-the-mill streets. The meeting that starts by chance, becomes the beginning of a deep and meaningful journey.
Abhishek Bachchan said, “As an actor, we often expect stories that first touch us inside and then others.” Kalidhar Missing did the same with me. Playing the role of Kalidhar was not just a role, it was a spiritual experience for me.
He said, he is delicate, is innocent and extremely human and through it I reached my parts of myself which I had not been seized for a long time. His and Ballu’s relationship kept a fearless, fearless child reminding me that the most unexpected friends in life teach us the deepest lessons. Above all, it forced me to think that we measure life not in years, but in those moments where we feel true engagement, courage and truth.

Director Madhumita said, “Through Kalidhar Missing, I wanted to tell a story that was personal and universal.” This gave me a platform to find subjects such as abandonment, dignity and the savior power of human association. Kalidhar is a character from which many of us have met in life at some time or perhaps in that situation. A person whom life has marginalized, but within which still a calm but stagnant courage keeps burning.
Zeeshan Job and Divine Bhagela will also be seen in important roles in the film Kalidhar Lapata. The film will premiere on G5 on 4 July.
