India vs England 1st Test: India’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant (Rishabh Pant 150 Catches) set a special record in wicketkeeping on Sunday (June 22) during the third day of the first Test match being played against England in Leeds’s headingley.

Pant caught a catch of Oli Pope, who was batting brilliantly off the famous Krishna’s fast bowler, who came out for the third over of the day. Along with this, he completed his 150 catches in Tests as a wicketkeeper. Pant has become India’s third wicketkeeper who has done the feat to take 150 or more catches in this format.

Before Pant, only MS Dhoni and Syed Kirmani had reached this figure.

Let us know that in the first innings, Pope performed brilliantly and scored 106 runs in 137 balls with the help of 14 fours.

Earlier, Pant also contributed significantly in batting in this match. Pant scored 12 fours and 6 sixes in 178 balls to score 134 runs and made a record of scoring the most centuries as wicketkeeper for India. Pant has now scored 7 centuries and in this list he left MS Dhoni behind.
