Pentagon said this
“The US does not want to fight with him after bombing three nuclear sites in the United States Department of Defense Department Pentagon,” said by Pentagon. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on Sunday, “The US does not want war with him after the sudden attack on three nuclear sites in Iran.”
Hegseth and Air Force General Dan Can, Joint Chief of Staff Chairman said at the Pentagon News Conference that we did not face any resistance to Iran. Hegseth said, “This mission was not about the change of governance nor has it been.”
Kane said the operation was to destroy atomic sites in Fordo, Natanj and Isfahan, which has been achieved. “The final war damage assessment will take some time, but the initial war damage assesses that all three sites have suffered extremely severe damage and destruction.”
Vice President Vance also revealed statement
Vice President Vance said that the US is not in war with Iran, but we are in war with Iran’s nuclear program. US Vice President JD Vance said on Sunday that US air strikes on Iran have delayed its nuclear program but also said that Americans are not in war with Iran.
He told ABC, “I do not want to go to sensitive intelligence here, but we know that we have pushed the Iranian nuclear program back to a large extent last night, whether it is for years or more. We are not in war with Iran. We are in war with Iran’s nuclear program and I think the President took a decisive action to destroy that program last night.”
