Ravindra Jadeja, Sai Sudharsan Relay Catch: India vs England The most spectacular fielding moment on the third day of the Handingley Test being played between came when Ravindra Jadeja and Sai Sudarshan together caught a relay catch, which all the cricket fans were happy to see. Jamie Smith, who was close to the half -century, was playing a bad shot but the real amazing fielders. India shocked England by breaking a 73 -run partnership between Smith and Harry Brook.
England wicketkeeper batsman Jamie Smith returned to the crease when captain Ben Stokes returned out. He took an aggressive stance from the beginning and sent every bad ball across the boundary. Smith was playing for 40 runs and was near half -century, when the 80th over came. Famous Krishna threw a short ball under the planning of captain Shubman Gill. Smith went to play the bridge shot but did not get the right timing, the ball reached the deep square leg with Jadeja. Earlier, an easy catch had been missed from Jadeja but this time it did not happen.
Jadeja caught a tremendous catch near the boundary, but saw that legs could go out of the boundary. He threw the ball in the air without losing time, and Sai Sudarshan, standing there, completed the catch with full vigor. Jamie Smith’s innings ended for 40 runs in 52 balls with this relay catch. Also, a 73 -run partnership between England’s Smith and Harry Brook also broke.
