Attack on Iran, Putin said this
Russian President Vladimir Putin has openly explained why Russia stands directly on the shore rather than Iran’s nuclear sites targeted by the US. Russia and Iran have had close relations for decades, Putin said that he is trying to remain neutral in the struggle as a large number of Russian -speaking people live in Israel. During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Putin said, “I would like to attract your attention to the fact that about two million people of the former Soviet Union and the Russian Union live in Israel. It is almost Russian -speaking country today. And, of course, we always keep it in the contemporary history of Russia.”
Putin replied to critics
Putin also responded to critics who questioned the loyalty of Russia’s associates. He described him as “provocative” and said that Russia’s relations with both Arab countries and Islamic countries have been friendly, insisting that 15 percent of Russia’s population is Muslim. He further stated that Russia is also an observer in the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC).
America attacked Iran
His comment came after the US came after the US sending a 14,000 kg bunker-bomb bomb and executed Operation Midnight Hammer, attacking Iran’s leading military sites, Fordo, Natanj and Isfahan. Trump described the attacks as “a magnificent military success” and claimed that Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facilities were completely destroyed. Iran’s foreign minister said this
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi said that the country would not return to peace talks or diplomacy until he retaliates first. He said that Iran was already on the table of conversation and it was America and Israel who “destroyed” the conversation. Earlier, Putin had offered to mediate the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel; However, US President Donald Trump rejected the proposal, saying, “Do a favor on me, mediate yourself. First mediate with Russia. You can worry about it later.”
