Feroz Khan used to work on his terms, had rejected many hit films
In the film industry, Feroz Khan is remembered as a style icon, who created a special style in contrast to the traditional image of the protagonist which was an attractive and stagnant image. Born on 25 September 1939 in Bangalore, Feroz Khan studied at Bishop Cottonbuzz School and St. German Boys High School in Bangalore and moved to Mumbai to try his luck.
In the year 1960, he got a chance to act for the first time in the film Didi. He was a tolerant in this film. After this, for the next five years, he got the roles of comfort in most films. Soon the star of his luck shone and in 1965 he got a chance to work in Phani Mazumdar’s film Uncha people. In this film, Feroz Khan had big actors like Ashok Kumar and Rajkumar, but with his emotional acting he managed to make his mark in the audience.
In the year 1965, another film of Feroz Khan was released, which was Rajendra Kumar Nayak and Sadhana heroine. In this film, he played the role of a young man who gave his love to his love. In 1969, his film man and humans were screened. For this film, he received the Filmfare’s Best Sahanayak Award. Feroz Khan also appeared in some films with his brother Sanjay Khan, including hit films like Upasana, Mela, Naagin.

Feroz Khan made his innings successful as a producer-director from the film crime released in 1972. After this, Feroz Khan produced some films like Dharmma, Kubarni, Jambaz, Dayawan, Yalgar, Prem Aghan and Janashi.
Crime was India’s first film, in which the car race was shown in Germany. He went to the beautiful folk of Afghanistan for the shooting of the Dharmatma. Earlier, no film in India was filmed there. Feroz Khan made his career’s biggest hit film Kubuni debut the music career of Pakistan’s pop singer Nazia Hasan.
Feroz Khan was one of the few actors who preferred to work in the film on their own condition. Because of this, he had rejected the proposals of many good films. In Raj Kapoor’s film Sangam, he refused to play the role of Rajendra Kumar and Manoj Kumar in the film.
In the year 2003, Feroz Khan built Janasheen to launch his son Fardeen Khan. Feroz Khan, popularly known as Lady Killer in Bollywood, acted in about 60 films in a four -decade long cine career. Feroz Khan made his special style of film production.
If we look at Feroz Khan’s made films, his films used to be of big budget, in which big stars were attractive and grand set, beautiful location, heart touching songs, music and great technology. Feroz Khan, with a special identity among the audience with his unique style, said goodbye to this world on 27 April 2009.
