“Iran’s horrific attack after talking to Trump”, Netanyahu’s statement on ceasefire
Benjamin Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that after a conversation with US President Donald Trump, a major attack against Iran has been postponed. Netanyahu’s office said Israel targeted an Iranian radar in response to the Iranian missile attack in the early hours of Tuesday. He said, Israel did not carry out additional attacks after President Trump’s conversation with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Accused of violation of ceasefire
In fact, even after declaring the ceasefire on behalf of Donald Trump, Israel had alleged that Iran was attacking him with missiles. After this, Israel also sent its fighter plane to attack Iran. Warning Israel, Trump said, “Do not drop the bomb on Iran. Doing so would be a big violation of ceasefire. Call your pilots immediately.”
Posting on social media, Trump said, “Israel is not going to attack Iran. All the aircraft will return. No one will suffer loss, ceasefire is effective!” He also clarified that he does not expect a change of governance in Iran.
I am not happy with Israel- Trump
Earlier in the day, Donald Trump expressed disappointment on the ongoing attacks even after the ceasefire was implemented while talking to reporters at the White House before leaving for the NATO Summit in Hague. “He violated it, but Israel also violated it,” he said. Trump specifically expressed displeasure over Israel’s action. He said, “I am not happy with Israel. I did not like that Israel started the attack soon after the agreement with us. And now I am hearing that Israel took steps just because they felt that a rocket had violated their limits, which has not fallen anywhere.”
Israel’s charge
It was said by Israel that Iran attacked with missiles after the ceasefire started. The missile attacks were followed by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katj to give a strong reply to the Israeli army. Katj had said that Iran has completely violated it by committing a missile attack after the ceasefire was effective.
Iran refuses to attack
Iran’s army denied that it had fired missiles on Israel a few hours after the ceasefire began. Iran’s government television gave this information quoting the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces. The news refused to attack. The general staff consists of Iran’s regular army and paramilitary revolutionary guards.
