Washington: The US attacked 3 nuclear sites in Iran, after which it was said that Iran had retreated from the target of its nuclear program. But the latest case is shocking. US Vice President JD Vance told ABC News that 400 kg of uranium reserves have disappeared after the US air strikes at three nuclear sites in Iran last week, which is sufficient to make 10 nuclear weapons. Up to 60 percent of the decorated uranium was stored at major sites in Iran and is now believed to have been removed before the attack.

What else did Vance say?

Vance said that he feels that the Iranian nuclear site has been severely damaged or destroyed but he cannot say this completely. Vance said the Trump administration will talk with Iran in the coming weeks in relation to 900 pounds (about 400 kg) uranium disappeared after US attacks on Iranian nuclear sites last week.

Talking to ABC News, Vance said, “We are going to work to ensure that we do something with the fuel in the coming weeks, and it is one of the things we are going to interact with.”

Vance said that the main objective of the operation was to target the Fordo Atomic Site. Obviously, other sites will also suffer some damage but we are confident that the Fordo Atomic Site was greatly damaged, and that was our goal.

What does Israeli officials have to say about uranium?

Israeli officials told the New York Times that Iran must have taken uranium reserves and equipment to a secret place before the attack. In the satellite photographs taken before the US attacks, a convoy of 16 trucks appeared outside the Fordo nuclear site, which is a very safe place built inside a mountain and is considered almost safe for missile attacks.
