10 killed in van well in MP’s Mandsaur

Eco van collided with a bike in MP’s Mandsaur and fell into the well. 10 people, including the bike rider, died in the accident. Those who died in the well to save the car riders are also included in the well.

The SDERF team was also called on the spot to remove the bodies from the well. The team landed in the well with the help of ropes and took out the body of Manohar Singh, who went to save the people. At the same time, the van has also been removed with the help of cranes.

There is 8 to 10 feet of water left in the well, which is being extracted through the motor. Only after the well is empty, it will be confirmed whether any corpse is in the well or not.

Four people, including a 3 -year -old girl involved in the injured, have been rescued and admitted to Mandsaur District Hospital. The bike rider has been identified as Gobar Singh, a resident of Abkheri.

The accident occurred in Budha-Takrawat Fante in Narayangarh police station area of ​​the district at around 1.15 pm on Sunday afternoon. There were more than 10 people in the van, who were going from Ujjain district to visit the Antari Mata temple in Manasa area of ​​Neemuch district.

Deputy CM Jagdish Deora said that a total of 13 people were involved in the accident, including two children. The first children were removed and sent to the hospital. The car has been brought out with great difficulty.
