Suryakumar Yadav: Indian T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav is currently in Germany. Suryakumar Yadav has gone for surgery in Germany. Surya had gone to the right side of the stomach in Munich, Germany, undergoing an operation of hernia.
After which he shared his health update with fans on social media. Let us tell you that now India, captained by Shubman Gill, is playing a five -match Test series against England. Surya is not a part of India’s Test team.
Surya gave life update
Team India’s T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav is currently in Germany where he is undergoing an operation of sports hernia on the right side of his stomach. Surya’s sports hernia has undergone surgery and the cricketer has also given updates on it. Sharing the photo on his Instagram, he wrote, “Life update: Sports hernia surgery was performed in the lower right part of the stomach. It is a pleasure to say that I am on the path to recover after the surgery. I am eagerly waiting to come back.”
Surya desperate to return
After reading Surya’s post, it seems that he is desperate to return to the cricket field soon. This is not the first time Surya is undergoing surgery for sports hernia. Prior to this, he has done this operation in the year 2024 as well. At the same time, in 2023, he underwent ankle surgery.
Team India’s upcoming challenges
Last year i.e. after the 2024 T20 World Cup, when Rohit Sharma said goodbye to T20 format, the team management appointed Suryakumar Yadav as the T20 captain of the Indian cricket team in place of Hardik Pandya. Young Team India has not yet faced defeat in a single series under the captaincy of Surya. Now Team India has to play a T20 series against Bangladesh on August. The Asia Cup 2025 will be a big challenge in front of Team India since this series. The Asia Cup will be played in 2025 T20 format.
