Britain’s fighter jet F-35B will be fine in India only
The British Royal Navy fighter jet F-35 will now be fine in India. For this, a team of 40 engineers and 2 tow vehicles will come from Britain. The team will fix the technical problem coming in the fighter jet, after which it will fly to Britain.
The fighter jet took place on the night of 14 June at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala. After the landing, there was a technical fault in the jet, due to which it could not return. The jet has been standing at the airport for 13 days.
This 918 crore aircraft is part of the UK’s Royal Navy’s HMS Prince of Wales Career Strike Group. It is considered one of the most advanced fighter jets worldwide. HMS experts had said that the UK engineering team would help in fixing the jet.
F-35 jet is famous by the name of Lightning
The F-35 model is a short tech off/vertical landing (Stovl) variant of the F-35 model fighter jet, known as Lightning in British Services, is designed to operate from short-field base and air capable ships.
F-35B is the fifth generation only fighter jet with a small flight and capacity of vertical landing. Which makes it ideal for operating with small decks, simple bases and ships.
F-35B has been developed by Lockheed Martin Company. This plane was started to be made from 2006. It has been included in the US Air Force since 2015.
It is the most expensive aircraft in the history of Pentagon. The US spends an average of $ 82.5 million (about Rs 715 crore) on an F-35 fighter plane.
