A local government official in the northern Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province said that a suicide bomber entered the military convoy. After this, 13 soldiers were killed, 10 military personnel and 19 civilians were injured in the explosion. The explosion has also damaged nearby houses.
A police officer said that the roofs of two houses also fell due to the explosion, injuring six children. No group has taken responsibility for this attack so far. However, it is one of the most stressful areas of Pakistan. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacks have often been held here.
