Starlink is going to get the final letter to start its satellite service in India soon. After getting the letter, the company will be eligible to start service in India. Currently, the government has given a letter to Allen Musk’s company to test its satellite service in India. Before getting the final letter, the company will have to demonist its service to the regulator here. The company will be given a final letter only after getting the green signal from the security agencies.

According to ET Telecom report, Space Regulator IN-Space has draped the final approval to Allen Musk’s satellite service company. In-Space (Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center) had given Starlink a letter of introduction recently. According to the report, Starlink will soon be authorized to start service.

Before Starlink in India, Eutelsat Onweeb (Bharti Airtel) and Jio Satellite have received approval to start service. After spectrum allocation, these companies can launch satellite internet service in India. Starlink recently received approval of Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite (GMPCS). In this way Starlink has become the third such company that has been given approval to launch satellite internet service in India.

Will the service start as soon as the final letter is received?

Starlink may take time to start the service even after getting the final letter. The company may take longer to offer commercial service. First, Starlinks need to setup in India, also known as Base Station, which is also known as base station. Satellite service in India can be controlled only through this base station.

After setting up the infrastructure, Starlink will have to get its service no-objection certificate of security complication here. After getting the certificate, Starlink will be waiting for the regulator to do spectrum alocate from the regulator. The Department of Telecommunications and regulatory satellite service providers will be spent at the administration level. Onweb and Jio have also been given the final approval in the year 2022. If Starlink also gets a final approval, then three companies starting satellite service in India will be in the race.

How much will the price be?

Starlink has recently launched its satellite service in India’s neighboring countries Bangladesh and Bhutan. Starlink’s satellite broadband service will also be pricing in India like Bangladesh and Bhutan. In India, users may cost up to Rs 3,000 every month. Apart from this, users will also have to make one-time payment for the device. Starillanank has partnered with Airtel and Jio for Equipments of its satellite broadband service in India. Users will also get Starlink Equipments at Airtel and Jio stores.
