Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has apologized for a stampede near a temple in Puri on Sunday. CM Majhi has sought this apology from the devotees of Lord Jagannath. Three people have died in a stampede in Puri. Officials said that three people have died in a stampede near Shri Gundicha temple in the early hours of Sunday. About 50 other people have also been injured.

Officials said that the incident of stampede near Shri Gundicha temple was around four o’clock in the morning. When hundreds of devotees gathered near the temple to watch the Rath Yatra festival. He said that the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital and the condition of six people is critical. (With language input)
